Pole Structures

Not all pole barns are created equal!

Pole structures are a highly competitive commodity. As such, price is the first issue considered by many prospective pole barn clients. As a result, some builders (as well as some lumber yards) have devised methods of offering amazingly cheap prices for pole barns. Let the buyer beware!

The only pole barns we will offer our clients are barns we would like to own for ourselves. When shopping for pole barns, ask these questions:

Do you use batch-plant concrete shot in place by laser for footers or do you dump a bag of "Sacrete" in the hole and walk away?

Do you use nail laminated timbers for vertical members?

Are your posts rated for ground contact? (.60 rather than the more common and less durable .40)

Are your trusses rated to receive a finished ceiling?

Do you take care of site work, driveways, concrete work and any electrical or mechanical system needs?

Are your overhangs traditional fascia and soffit construction or the typical one piece "Denver Overhang"?

Do you furnish the permits and comply with all state and local codes?

Bottom Line

Martis and Associates is a full service contractor that sells a high quality pole structure in a complete package. From design to landscaping, we have the capability to meet most residential pole barn needs.
